UAE continues to improve infrastructure in 2026 - Makebiz

The United Arab Emirates continues to actively develop, introducing new infrastructure and technological projects that can significantly improve the quality of life of local residents and tourists. In the coming year, the country continues to implement a huge list of significant initiatives covering various areas, including transport, sustainable development and the construction of residential facilities.

An ambitious project is scheduled to be launched in 2026 — the construction of a high-speed railway connecting Abu Dhabi and Dubai. On this highway, trains can reach speeds of up to 350 km/h, which will reduce the travel time between the two largest cities of the country to just half an hour. This will not only facilitate movement for residents and guests, but also significantly improve logistics, contributing to the development of business and tourism.

Dubai also plans projects to modernize Al Fai Street at a cost of 1.5 billion dirhams and build a new bridge that will connect the islands of Dubai. These initiatives are aimed at improving transport infrastructure, which, in turn, should lead to reduced traffic jams and increased road safety.

The UAE continues to pay significant attention to issues of sustainable development and environmental protection. A pilot environmental monitoring project has recently been launched in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, which uses modern artificial intelligence technologies and satellite imagery. The innovative system analyzes the received images and automatically identifies possible places of unauthorized waste disposal. According to preliminary data, the accuracy of detecting illegal landfills exceeds 90%, which significantly increases the effectiveness of environmental supervision. The use of such digital tools allows government agencies to detect violations faster and respond promptly to them, taking the necessary measures to protect natural resources and maintain ecological balance.

In parallel with environmental initiatives, the residential real estate sector is actively developing in the country. Mashriq Elite development company has announced the start of construction of a new coastal residential complex Floarea Breeze on the island territory of Dubai. The project provides for the creation of a modern living space, including 48 apartments with thoughtful layouts and four townhouses. The construction is scheduled to be completed in the third quarter of 2027. It is expected that the project will not only expand the supply of high-quality housing, but also have a positive impact on the development of the area’s infrastructure, increasing its attractiveness for permanent residence, investment and recreation by the sea.

Thus, the UAE continues to invest in its infrastructure, which not only improves the quality of life of residents, but also makes the country more attractive to tourists and investors. The implementation of these projects in the coming years will be an important step towards creating a sustainable and modern society capable of meeting the challenges of the future.
