Today, 79 Russian brands are successfully operating here, and this number continues to grow. In 2024, 19 retailers from Russia will be added to the Dubai market, which shows the growing interest in the region.

The Golden Apple and Letoile stores, Frank by Basta and Dodo Pizza cafes, IT companies Kaspersky Lab and 1C, as well as many other organizations representing a variety of sectors are already successfully developing in the region. 

One of the fastest growing industries is catering, occupying more than half of all new players in the market. The founders of such companies note that launching a business in Dubai becomes an important step for popular names in Russia. A successful presence in the region not only improves reputation, but also affects the increase of brand recognition in the international arena, facilitating expansion into the Gulf countries and any other regions of the world.

For example, in 2025, it is planned to launch the chain’s Coffee House in Dubai Hills Mall. Birch Gastro Bistro has already announced its opening since early February. The restaurant is operating out of a hotel in DIFC.

These developments highlight the growing interest in quality restaurant concepts and the desire for domestic brands to carve a niche for themselves in the highly competitive UAE environment.

While the growing restaurant business is exciting, Dubai’s shopping malls are eagerly awaiting the arrival of the fashion industry.
